The opportunity to open The Culture Core seemed obvious at the start of 2022 when we were all trying to navigate our way through the middle seasons of the pandemic which very quickly led to that defeating professional moment in time that we now know as The Great Resignation.
At that moment, the need for increased employee engagement and morale became very clear to me after having spent many years in the hospitality industry where a knack for staff engagement and bringing teams together often comes with the territory, as does loyalty and then retention. We literally depended on each other for support in order to succeed at work. And we did that very well.
In 2025, our nation is again in the midst of another professional crisis - The Great Detachment - which is showing alarming numbers of employees disengaged with their work.
